A Community Manager for Stellar Residential is someone who demonstrates superb leadership skills, while mentoring their onsite team and is actively involved in their training and development for future opportunities. They oversee both service and leasing office personnel. A Stellar Community Manager is dedicated to the success of their property by achieving the goals for their clients and owners.  They ensure their residents receive the highest level of customer-care.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and provides direction to their onsite team, both service and leasing, to ensure performance expectations and business goals are achieved.      
  • Manages the careers of their team, including hiring, promoting, transferring and discharging, when applicable.  Managing the career of their team members also includes measuring their performance, educating and training, and providing performance reviews for their team members.      
  • Works together with the community Service Manager to ensure the exterior community concerns are taken care of, service requests are completed successfully, coordinates move-in and move-out inspections and costs are met properly, apartment inventory is available and provided to residents is the highest quality possible, is a partner in service staffing and manages supplies and costs.      
  • Key facilitator in community performance, including unit availability, rental pricing decisions, including optimal unit pricing for vacant and units on notice.      
  • Coordinates and assists in providing details for community accounting and financials. Works together with the accounting team to ensure bank deposits, collection activity, monitoring rent payment inputs, weekly supply orders, invoicing and budgets are satisfactory and within goals set by the clients and asset manager.      
  • Oversees the approval of daily leasing activity and approves rental applications and agreements, while supporting a smooth move-in process.    
  • Encompasses an expert knowledge of sub-market trends and data, establishing professional relationships with competitors and corporate outreach programs.
  • Manages reports for daily, weekly, monthly performance measures.

    Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in Multi-Family management, including leasing and accounting experience.      
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.      
  • Ability to multi-task and possesses high organizational skills.      
  • Work a flexible work schedule, including weekends.      
  • Maintains a professional behavior and appearance.      
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.  Communicates effectively, both verbally and written.      
  • Demonstrates the ability to tour prospective residents, investors and clients.      
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Power Point.      
  • Understands property management and accounting software (Yardi, Real Page, ResMan, etc.)      
  • Enjoys evaluating, understanding and reporting financial information.      
  • Has techniques and understanding of sub-market trends and analytics.      
  • Enjoys mentoring and cultivating a team.
